The good news is, the “Independent Candidate Association” (ICA) filed its legal challenge to the recently enacted “Electoral Act” in the Constitutional Court on 26 May. The ICA said in a statement, “We believe the “Electoral Act” is both irrational and unconstitutional.”  I agree.

More encouraging news is that resistance is growing against the ANC regime’s destructive agenda to decriminalise the entire sex-industry in South Africa. Many more influential voices are joining the opposition to government’s irrational plans to legalize prostitution in a country with intolerably high rates of poverty, unemployment, violence and sexual  exploitation of women.

Advocate Dallene Clark of the SA Law Reform Commission recently published her LLD study, “Sex for sale: a comparative analysis of legal models and the socio-economic determinants informing law-reform in South Africa.” Her meticulous research on prostitution is a compelling evidence-based argument against the purely ideology driven legitimization of state sanctioned sex-trade.

We are closely monitoring the “Single Marriage Statute” Bill that seeks to redefine man, woman marriage and equate it with same-sex and transgender unions. This Bill will abolish marriage as an exclusive union between a man and a woman – primarily to appease LGBTQ radicals.

Thankfully, government received hundreds of thousands submissions in response to the draconian “Hate Speech” Bill. The majority of citizens both religious and secular, oppose this Bill because of the hidden political agenda to silence speech that conflicts with ANC ideology.

FPI must maintain and intensify the pressure. We are ready and prepared to mobilize against the “Sexual Offences Amendment Bill,” the “Single Marriage Statute,” the “BELA Bill,” and CSE/SOGI policies that hijack education to indoctrinate children with abortion and LGBTQ propaganda.
