| I am reliably informed the foreign-funded “Sex Workers Education & Advocacy Taskforce” (SWEAT) efforts to legalise the entire sex industry in SA – via the law courts – face considerable resistance. This case will only be heard in the W/C High Court well into 2027. Marcel van der Watt, President & CEO of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) will bring his considerable international expertise to bear on this case. Marcel will also participate in the ACPF Conference to educate delegates about this legal battle. Many of the leaders of organisations like, C-Fam, FRC, Family Watch International, Alliance Defending Freedom and the Institute for Women’s Health will participate in the 3rd ACPF Pan-African (International) Conference on Family Values in Cape Town in May 2027. FPI and the ACPF oppose the dangerous agenda of the gender-neutral “Marriage Bill” that seeks to equate man, woman marriage with same-sex and transgender unions in every respect. This Bill seeks to redefine marriage to appease global sexual rights radicals. Pro-life and pro-family groups from more than 30 African nations will join forces with allies from the US, Europe and Latin America in Cape Town in 2027 to issue a bold proclamation on life, the family, religious freedoms and good governance based on biblical principles. The GCD tenets will form the policy framework for the ACPF Charter on Life & Family. African nations already represent the majority of GCD signatories – isolating the ANC and its anti-life and anti-family stance. The ACPF will help grow African support for the GCD. The success of FPI’s critical work depends on its funding. My efforts in FPI, RSACRA and the ACPF cannot succeed without adequate funding. The lack of finances severely undermine my vital work because anti-family groups enjoy multi-million dollar budgets. We can’t match their budgets but we need a fighting chance.
