Lovelight Creative Studios is proud to announce the upcoming full-length album, The Kingdom Project, from Cape Town’s rising gospel force and music producer, Thurston C. Coming off the massive success of “The Best Love” and his recent #1 hit single “Miracles” on CCFM 107.5, Thurston C. is preparing to share his raw, deeply personal testimony of deliverance with the world.
The road to The Kingdom Project has been a journey of profound spiritual warfare and resilience. For the better part of his youth, Thurston battled crippling depression. This battle culminated during his critical matric year, when he suffered multiple severe nervous breakdowns, ultimately leading to his hospitalization in a mental institution as a teenager.
It was in the darkest corridors of that facility that the gift of music transformed from a creative outlet into a tangible, divine intervention.
“As both his manager and his wife, I have watched this journey firsthand,” says Lucrecia Charles, Managing Director of Lovelight Creative Studios. “Thurston writes the music he does because he is a living testament to God’s deliverance. He knows that just as God made a way for him in that hospital, He can do it for anyone. This album isn’t just entertainment; it’s a lifeline for the broken.”
The Kingdom Project is designed to be a sequential journey through spiritual resilience. The narrative arc moves from the struggle of the past to the supernatural peace of the present, encouraging listeners to trust in God’s daily provision.
Following his previous chart-topping success, the next highly anticipated contemporary single, “Joy” is set for official release on Friday, June 26, 2026. Representing how just having the Joy of the Lord can sustain you, the lyrics declare:
“Storms around me, still I’m singing / Peace inside me, You keep bringing… I will lift Your name, Higher than my fear, Higher than my shame / Joy like a river running through my veins / Jesus!! Jesus!! I will lift Your name!!”

Following the current promotion of “JOY”, Lovelight Creative Studios will release the next contemporary single, “MANNA”, on Friday, July 24, 2026. Representing the daily provision needed to survive the wilderness, “MANNA” continues the message that God provides exactly what is needed to take the next step.
