“Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” – Psalm 36:5

The Lord can (and does) intervene in our lives at any moment. He also appears and speaks to us in amazing ways. I believe He does this because He knows us intimately and wants to touch us in ways that will be impactful and cause us to bear testimony to Him. One way I experience this is through a cloud. Often, I glance out a window or, whilst driving my car, suddenly notice a single little cloud in the sky. There will be no other clouds, and it only lasts for a maximum of 30 seconds. I find it so encouraging and impactful, always feeling as if it is God “winking” at me. What’s incredible is that it is there for “whosoever”, and I often wonder if others notice it.

Clouds are biblical
In the Bible, clouds are often associated with God’s intervention. This little cloud reminds me to walk by faith. The Bible says, “…the clouds are the dust of His feet” (Nah 1:3). To me, they are a sign that God is there. My prayer is that I will always be alert and attentive to Him so that I will not miss the moment when He comes and makes Himself real to me.
