Young Leanora Naidoo’s story is one of faith, resilience, and devotion to God. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and moving to Hamilton, New Zealand, in January 2020, Leanora faced significant changes at a young age. Now, at only ten years old and attending a Christian school in Hamilton, she has found a stable environment to express her faith through her talents.

From the tender age of four, Leanora has been passionate about music. She not only sings, but also plays the piano and drums, showcasing a range of musical talents. Her love for music, especially worship songs, is a reflection of her deep connection with God. Leanora’s journey into songwriting began with her involvement in songs written by her mother. However, it was her own composition, God Gets Me Through the Day, that marked a significant milestone in her young musical career. Inspired by Proverbs 3:5, the song emphasises trusting in the Lord with all one’s heart, a principle that Leanora herself embodies.
