With the coronavirus taking this world by storm, Christian leaders around the world are calling for a global day of prayer on Sunday 22nd March.
It is time to PRAY for the world, CARE for the people, and SHARE the Gospel.
Christian leaders in South Africa are involved in the Global Prayer Initiative, themed hope beyond fear. This is being driven by Dr. Elias Dantas of Global Kingdom Partnerships Network (GKPN) globally, and by Graham Power in South Africa. The event will be observed around the world.
This initiative is an URGENT global call to the nations to pray against the corona virus and its impact in the nations.
Let’s unite in prayer for God’s intervention, protection, and a new openness to the Gospel. A fearful world needs a bold and courageous church. It is time to share the hope and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We call every believer to pray, care, and share one-on-one, via social media and phone.
Nations so far confirmed as taking part are:
South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, East Timor, Indonesia, France, Germany, UK, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Nigeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Mexico, Canada, USA, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Peru.
Partners of the initiative include Global Day of Evangelism & Evangelical Alliance of Portugal.
