Arlene and I returned from Durban on Monday 16 March amid sporadic Coronavirus hysteria. Alarmingly, while visiting the supermarkets, we were surprised to find empty shelves at most major retail stores due to panic buying.

I encourage everyone to pray fervently, exercise caution and put their trust firmly in God. He is sovereign and remains in control of our circumstances. Proclaim Psalm 91 and 46 over your lives and your family. This crisis will eventually pass. Use this time to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are fearful. God is faithful and true. Fear is irrational. Choose faith over fear.

Following a fruitful meeting in Durban on 12 March with education experts from across the country, we are proceeding with the development process (as rapidly as possible) to finalise the value-based sex-education curriculum that will serve as an alternative to “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE).

Parents, teachers, school governing bodies, and Churches have demanded a value-based sex-ed curriculum – developed by South African educators and that addresses the unique challenges facing South African children – as an alternative to the diabolical “sexual rights” focused CSE program.

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) guided by UNESCO and in partnership with US abortion giant, “International Planned Parenthood Federation” (IPPF) are pushing ahead with its sexual indoctrination program (CSE) to change the sexual and gender norms of South African society.

The sexual rights movements cheerleaders in the mainstream media are publishing misleading editorials and articles promoting the “benefits of CSE” to deceive the public. Considering the crisis of the high rates of sexual exploitation, rape, exposure to pornography, teen pregnancies and child-on-child sexual abuse – sex education is essential. But CSE is NOT sex education. It does not teach children sexual responsibility and sexual health. It is abortion and LGBTQ sexual indoctrination that deepens the crisis.

A growing number of prominent and respected independent research institutions are studying the results of CSE in schools across the world. Their findings corroborate the evidence I have found. And that is, CSE has little effectiveness and increases sexual activity.

Once we have finalised the value-based sex education curriculum that is CAPS compliant, I will immediately solicit endorsements for the program from parent groups, school governing bodies, private school organisations, Church groups, NGO’s, media networks and corporates.

We are also working on sex-ed materials for parents to help guide them in the proper instruction of their children. These guidelines include current digital and online threats. In addition, programs are being developed to train facilitators across the country who can train teachers and parents in the various applications.

We are praying for God’s wisdom to guide us in this critical endeavour. Please commit to pray for the team working on the development of the value-based sex education curriculum.

Together we hope to generate massive public demand for this program – and by so doing – make CSE obsolete. The value-based curriculum is a African solution for an African problem. CSE is wholly imported from global abortion and LGBTQ radicals. Please help us make CSE obsolete to protect children.
