The 2nd Pan-African Conference on Family Values (PACFV) concluded on 14 May in Nairobi, Kenya. The PACFV adopted and released a Declaration expressing its united resolve to protect the sanctity, integrity and constitutional protection of the family in Africa.
Hosted by the “African Christian Professionals Forum” (ACPF), it welcomed government leaders, civil-society organisations, academic institutions, religious bodies and allied international partners to Kenya for three days of intense discussions and strategizing.
The assembled African and international pro-family leaders also observed the UN designated “International Day of Families” on 15 May at a ‘Family Celebration’ hosted by the Kenyan government in partnership with the Kenyan Christian Professionals Forum.
The good news is, Cape Town was selected as the host city for the 3rd Pan-African Conference on Family Values scheduled for 12 – 15 May 2027. Family Policy Institute (FPI) will organize the ACPF event and host pro-family leaders from Africa and the world.
Cape Town was strategically selected as the 2027 host city. South Africa is the only African nation to fully embrace the foreign devised sexual rights ideology. The ANC’s relentless assault on faith, family and freedom has severely degraded the country’s social cohesion.
Utilising the PACFV momentum, we will focus on building the African pro-family movement to defend and promote family values based on Biblical truth. We have established a pan-African social-media network of skilled young people that will consistently proclaim our message on social media platforms by creating innovative content for mass awareness.
A key focus area is pro-actively lobbying African policymakers. We aim to inform and educate government leaders with the facts about family breakdown and its devastating consequences on African societies. In addition, we offer credible public policy solutions.
Sexual rights activists monitored the PACFV in Nairobi and published hideous distortions of the conference purpose. An LGBTIQ+ online site article entitled, “Far Right Leaders Amplify African Anti-LGBTIQ+ Rhetoric at Nairobi Conference.” We did no such thing.
A Kenya based LGBTQ activist claimed, “This conference is a breeding ground for hate, exclusion, and misinformation.” The “hate, exclusion and misinformation” are: life is sacred, marriage and the family are God ordained, parents determine the education of their own children, sexual indoctrination is evil and religious freedoms are fundamental human rights.
The Trump administration dismantled the USAID agency that covertly funnelled billions of US tax-payer dollars to radical abortion and LGBTQ groups in Africa. This funding was used to promote abortion-on-demand, radical gender ideology, LGBTQ special rights, the sexualisation of children in education and hate crime laws to silence Christian citizens.
The Trump administration also cancelled US funding for UN agencies like the World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCO, UNFPA and others. These agencies aggressively advance the radical left’s destructive abortion and sexual rights agenda in the nations of the world.
LGBTIQ+ groups are already using the ACPF Conference to raise funding for its cause. It claims, “It is important donors and allies understand that all rights are at risk. We must have strong partnerships and movements, especially on these issues. Further, resources are needed in a proactive manner and with flexibility to support different environments that CSOs work in. And, donors, partners, policymakers and allies need to make their voices heard, in their own spaces, with a consistent and clear message of support.”
The LGBTIQ+ online site shrieked, “LGBTIQ+ Hate “Family Values” Conference Coming to South Africa.” The article equates family values with hate. The news site actually beat me in publicly announcing the 2027 event. It describes the pro-family conference as “a platform to attack and demonise the LGBTIQ+ community” – without providing evidence.
The ACPF Nairobi Conference and the upcoming event in Cape Town in May 2027 promotes and protects life, faith, family and freedom. We unapologetically proclaim the Biblical truth that validates our message: life, faith, family and freedom are gifts from God.
As evidenced by the hysterical and false reporting of abortion and LGBTIQ+ activists, the momentum is with the African and global pro-family movement. Anti-family groups lost billions in US funding but they still receive billions from leftist billionaires like George Soros.
Global anti-family groups require billions of dollars to sell its lies. Proclaiming the truth is less complex. But pro-family groups like FPI still need adequate funding to remain on the frontlines of the battle. FPI covets your prayers and partnership to enable us to effectively expose the lies of the enemy and proclaim Biblical truth for the benefit of all people.
