Several times in the Bible God spoke through clear signs, for example the plagues and the writing on the wall. However, it is not only in the Bible that God speaks so clearly. American author and Messianic Jewish pastor, Jonathan Cahn, points to two signs that have recently communicated messages from God.

PROPHETIC WARNING TO POPE FRANCIS?
For Roman Catholics, the pope represents the office of the Apostle Peter. The pope recently issued a decree that the Roman Catholic Church may “bless” same-sex couples. This is unheard of in the history of the Roman church and Western Christianity. Soon after, St Peter’s statue was struck with lightning, damaging it significantly. Did God send a message through a statue? It wouldn’t be the first time. When the Philistines placed the ark of God in Dagon’s temple, the statue twice was found on the floor in front of the ark. The second time the head and hands were broken off (1 Sam 5:4), a sign of God’s wrath and His judgement.

Series of astounding ‘coincidences’
Is it mere coincidence that lightning struck a statue of Peter on the day the Vatican was preparing to issue that decree? Is it a coincidence that the statue was struck on December 17 (Pope Francis’ birthday) in Argentina (the pope’s country of origin) in the province of Buenos Aires (Archbishop Francis’ diocese before he became pope), in the capital Buenos Aires (where the pope was born, grew up and was the archbishop)?

Totally destroyed
It is a series of astonishing “coincidences” that points directly to the current pope! Not every lightning bolt is a judgement, however, this one hit the statue despite the lightning rods to protect it; it also directly hit the key to God’s Kingdom in Peter’s hand – the symbol of authority. The key was totally destroyed, a sign that all spiritual authority has been removed (the halo, a symbol of holiness, was already destroyed in September 2018).

Turkish politician dies after cursing Israel
God promised Abraham (and the Jewish nation): “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you” (Gen 12:3). Recently, a member of the Turkish Parliament, Hasan Bitmez (54), cursed Israel in a speech. “You will not be able to escape a guilty conscience. Even if you could, you will not be able to escape the torment of history. Even if you escape the torment, you will not be able to escape the wrath of Allah…” Immediately afterwards, he collapsed with a heart attack and passed away two days later.
