As South Africa stands at a crucial juncture with impending elections on 29th May, believers across the nation are uniting in prayer for peace and prosperity. The Reformation Society invites all concerned citizens to join them on Thursday, 16th May, at Livingstone House, 28 Park Rd., Rondebosch, Cape Town.
The event kicks off with supper at 6 PM, followed by a special Hour of Power Prayer session at 7 PM. Drawing inspiration from Ephesians 6:18 and 2 Chronicles 7:14, participants will fervently pray for God’s mercy and intervention in South Africa and the Cape of Good Hope.
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests… be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
In a statement, Dr Peter Hammond emphasised the importance of humility, prayer, and seeking God’s face during these challenging times. His ministry, The Reformation Society, believes that united supplication has the power to bring about healing and transformation, echoing the biblical promise of forgiveness and restoration in 2 Chronicles 7:14.
