News broke last week the proposed VAT hike was reversed, the Government of National Unity (GNU) remains intact and President Cyril Ramaphosa had a telephone chat with US President, Donald Trump regarding Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to SA.
President Ramaphosa has reportedly secured a face to face meeting with Donald Trump soon to resolve the recent breakdown in US, SA relations and the diplomatic impasse.
Somebody said, “A week is a long time in politics.” The drama that unfolded in South Africa’s politics over the past week seems to prove this true. But as the recent political turmoil appears to be stabilizing, the ANC still pushes ahead with its anti-family agenda.
Over the past 30 years, the ANC used its majority to ram its policies through Parliament. Thankfully, however, they no longer hold that majority and cannot impose their ideology on SA’s citizens. The VAT hike debacle proves ANC ideology can be defeated in Parliament.
Family Policy Institute (FPI) is gearing up to oppose and stop the ANC’’s single “Marriage Bill” that will redefine man, woman marriage in law, mobilize and equip citizens to oppose a legalized sex-trade in SA, and oppose and end the sexual indoctrination of innocent children in schools via the foreign devised “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE).
FPI must raise approximately R75,000 by 30 April to fund these vital pro-family initiatives. Although we are still in a deficit with our six-month fundraising campaign, we are making headway to ensure we remain on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and freedom.
Please consider making a generous tax-deductible donation to FPI today to help us fight for your values where it matters most. You can EFT your contribution directly into FPI’s banking account. Your support is critical. Tax-certificates are available on request.
FPI will inform, educate and equip citizens with the facts about the devastating impact of redefining the ancient God-given institution of marriage. The ANC plans to strip men and women of their unique identity in marriage – simply to appease sexual rights radicals.
When you partner with FPI in this vital work, you help defend the sanctity of life and the primacy of the family, you help protect parental rights and the innocence of children in education and you help defend religious speech and the right to freely express our beliefs.
If you have never done so before, please consider a regular monthly contribution of any amount to support the vital work of FPI in South Africa. Your prayers and financial partnership are critical to ensure the voice of Christian citizens are heard loud and clear.
We have a major goal to achieve in two days. FPI must raise R75,000 by 30 April to fund critical pro-family projects. You can help us achieve this goal by making a generous tax-deductible contribution – so FPI can defend the family and promote Biblical values in SA.
FPI is working with its allies to defeat SWEAT’s High Court application to repeal the laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sex – thereby legalizing the entire sex-industry in SA. We hope to launch our social media campaigns soon to mobilize citizens against CSE.
Public hearings on the gender-neutral single “Marriage Bill” continue around the country. This Bill will be finalized soon and tabled in Parliament. FPI is lobbying MP’s in the GNU to vote against the “Marriage Bill” to preserve and protect man, woman marriage in law.
Critically, However, FPI’s vital pro-family efforts are hindered by a lack of adequate funding. Our finances have not kept pace with our growing workload. To make matters worse, the anti-family groups we battle daily are well funded by wealthy foreign organizations.
FPI’s work depends entirely on the contributions of its faithful partners. We face formidable challenges. But your prayers and financial partnership make our work possible. Please make your best contribution today to help us fight for your values where it matters most.
