It is that time of year again! November marks the start of FEBA Radio South Africa’s annual Christmas Radio Project, which raises funds to distribute radios and audio Bibles in Malawi and Mozambique. Thanks to radio, FEBA’s ministry has seen astonishing growth in these and other countries, because radio is able to reach people in the remotest areas.
Mr Maria João Mustafa, a listener from Nicoadala in Mozambique, recently shared the following testimony:
“I have been a regular listener of Nicoadala Impact FM for several years, but it wasn’t until I tuned into the Sunday morning broadcast that my life truly began to change. The pastor’s words about love, forgiveness, and hope resonated deeply within me.
“Before, I often felt lost and overwhelmed by life’s challenges. However, after listening to the Word of God on Impact FM, I found a sense of peace and purpose that I never knew was possible. The teachings helped me to forgive those who hurt me and inspired me to reach out and help others in my community.
“The stories and scriptures shared during the program have become a source of strength for me. I now start my day with prayer and reflection, using what I’ve learned to guide my actions. I am grateful for the positive impact this station has had on my life and the community around me. It has truly been a blessing.”
FEBA currently has 2500 fixed frequency radios on order to distribute in Malawi and Mozambique, as well as audio Bibles in Chichewa and Chiyao. They hope to order the same number for distribution in Niger, a country that is more than 99% Muslim, where FEBA broadcasts the gospel of Jesus Christ. year.
