You can’t see them, but I’m bound by chains. Chains of disease and superstition. Chains that are stealing my hands, eyes, feet, family, and friends.

I have leprosy…

Leprosy germs are invading my skin and nerves. When my nerves die, I won’t feel pain when touching a hot stove. I’ll be robbed of fingers, toes, and sight. My family may disown me. If people offer me work, they’ll abuse me…

But there’s good news!

Leprosy is curable. The Leprosy Mission gives me tablets that will save my hands. I’m learning to avoid disabilities. My family is conquering their fears. I’m learning to work for myself, meaning I won’t depend on other people for an income.

The Leprosy Mission is breaking my chains, and they need your help. The Leprosy Mission is a Christian charity, funded by people like you, who love the Lord, fulfilling His words, recorded in Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

This Christmas, please help
The Leprosy Mission to help me. My treatment costs R1000 per month. R500 buys a pair of shoes for someone with numb feet. A gift of R200 presents the Gospel. A training course costs R5000.
