When a son or daughter of God talks about business, the sound is distinctly different from someone following the principles of the world’s system.
I want to share with you the principles that the Word of God has taught me, many years of guidance by the Holy Spirit into the truth of Kingdom principles, and the fundamental guidelines that will always lead us to triumph in Christ. “Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ” (2 Cor 2:14).
Let’s compare it today with the life of a boxer
You will agree with me that no salted, well-trained boxer will get into a ring without the proper training of a coach – many hours of disciplining the body and being fit enough to last until the end. A boxer understands that balance between your feet and hands is paramount. The feet move almost all the time. Swiftly, light, almost like the feet of a hind: light, yet steadfast. A sharp eye to anticipate moves from the opponent and then the fists – no beating wildly in the air, as it wastes time and energy.
Looking to the Word
This is how it is with us in business – “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection: lest by any means having preached to others, I myself might be disqualified” (1 Cor 9:27). “And not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is proof of perdition to them, but to you of salvation and that from God” (Phil 1:28).
Dedicated obedience
God loves us too much to put us in the ring without training and preparation.
It requires discipline and skill, as well as dedicated obedience to God’s Word and instructions. Jesus said we cannot worship God and mammon, the last being the world system under demonic control. As Christians, we should expect opposition and not cringe with fear. We are called to be strong and courageous. There is a process, and we grow as we obey the basic instructions and prove ourselves to be good stewards. Then, we are promoted to deal with more.
Business God’s way
I want to encourage you to do business God’s way. Be quick to obey Him, learn about His Kingdom way, and stay fearless and constant.
