After completing her journey with Mrs South Africa in July 2023, Chantell Davis remains undeterred in her unwavering commitment to helping individuals break free from the constraints of societal norms and walk in purpose. Recognizing the profound impact of pageants as platforms for women’s empowerment, she set her sights on a new endeavour – entering Mrs Universe South Africa.

On Monday, 07 August, Davis received the happy news that she had placed as a Semi-Finalist of Mrs Universe South Africa 2023 and will now be embarking on an exciting seven-month journey to the crown.

Davis expresses, “Upon receiving the astonishing news, my heart was brimming with overwhelming joy and profound gratitude.”

As part of her Mrs Universe South Africa journey, she is committed to helping raise awareness and find sustainable solutions to combat the pervasive and damaging effects of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), bullying, and discrimination that plague all sectors of society. Understanding the transformative potential of “Beauty with a Purpose,” she aims to leverage her participation in Mrs Universe South Africa to effect positive and lasting change within her community and society at large.

The scourge of GBV continues to inflict devastating consequences on individuals, families, and communities. In light of this, Davis intends to spearhead impactful initiatives and community engagement programs to address GBV head-on. Through collaboration with local organizations, educational institutions, and community leaders, she plans to host seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns that educate, support, and inspire individuals to take a stand against GBV to create a safer and more inclusive society for all.

Driven by a deep-rooted belief that every individual deserves a life free from fear and discrimination, Davis extends an open invitation to all community members to join her.

“I am extending an open invitation to all community members to join hands, so together, we can raise our collective voice, eradicate GBV, and pave the way for a future where victims become victors and our community thrives in an environment of compassion, respect, and empowerment.”, Davis concluded.
