Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word. All our prayers must be based on the Word and supported by faith, knowing that the Lord will bring to pass what we have prayed for. This is one of the greatest stumbling blocks in believers’ lives. They do not believe that what they have prayed for, will actually come to pass.

The importance of faith
The Name of Jesus is our greatest guarantee, knowing that no obstacle that the devil will place on the road of faith can or will succeed. Jesus said knock and keep on knocking and He assures us that the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7). Do not give up with the first try. Faith pushes, believes, and calls the things that are not – in other words that do not exist – as though they do. Faith sees the situation that we have prayed for as though it has already been answered. In addition to our faith, the Father knows what we want before we even ask. Explanations are unnecessary, just ask and believe.

Pray for South Africa
Let the prayers for our nation be supported by faith, trusting that God will come through and prosper our land.

• Ask for a liberal portion of wisdom for our State President
• Pray for a national revival in all churches and all church leaders. Our nation desperately needs our prayers
• Pray for economic recovery and ask the Lord to give the business world wisdom to create job opportunities for all
• Pray for all students writing exams at this time
