We encourage Christians across South Africa to take some time on Sunday 17 or 24 June 2018, to thank the Lord for the good rains that fell in the Western Cape, and also in other parts of the country. Soaking rain during the past few weeks in the Cape Peninsula, caused higher dam levels than at the same time last year. Let us pray for a good rainy season, for overflowing dams and the restoration of groundwater resources.
We also ask Christians to continue praying for rain in areas where no or insufficient rain fell. Let us persevere in petitioning the Lord for rain until the drought is relieved in the Eastern-Cape, Namakwaland, Northern Cape, Karoo, Free State, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
Let us also persevere in prayer for spiritual revival, and for the spiritual and moral restoration of our nation.
Please share this initiative with others, so they can also give thanks and praise to the Lord for answering our prayers for rain.
