The work established by Reverend Erlo Stegen at KwaSizabantu Mission (meaning “the place where people are helped”) in KwaZulu Natal continues to grow. His life purpose of uplifting communities through the gospel extends to helping them with their everyday needs. Reverend Stegen has been working amongst previously disadvantaged rural groups in agricultural, education and commercial sectors. The facilities established to support the ministry of the mission provide skills training and employment. It is remarkable how one man can change a nation through his faith, vision and tireless dedication.

The theme of the conference is “What flows from your life?” based on the scripture which rung deep during Reverend Erlo Stegen’s life when the Lord called him to bring the gospel to the Zulu nation:
“He who believes in me as the Scripture has said, out of his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” – John 7:38
All are welcome to attend the thanksgiving service on Sunday, 11 December 2022 at 10:00 am at KwaSizabantu Mission.
