The next 10 weeks of this year is critical for faith, family and freedom in South Africa. Family Policy Institute (FPI) is currently engaged in several battles to defend and protect parental authority, the innocence of children, the sanctity of marriage, the primacy of the family, the safety and dignity of women and the right to express Biblical beliefs and convictions.
We have 4 weeks left to urge parents of school-going children to request “Smart Choices.” School Governing Bodies (SGB’s) have the authority to select the appropriate sexuality education programs for the next academic year. Parents must contact their child(ren’s) SGB to request “Smart Choices” and reject “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE).
We are utilizing paid-advertising on social media platforms and our TV programs, “Salt & Light” on TBN and “Watchmen on the Wall” on Faith Channel to reach millions of citizens with the truth about the destructive agenda targeting faith, family and religious freedoms in SA.
FPI must remain vigilant. “Hate Crimes” legislation and the “PEPUDA Amendment Bill” are designed to silence Biblical beliefs and convictions by criminalising it. We must keep the Christian community reliably informed including thousands of Christian leaders so we can effectively oppose and defeat government’s misguided attempts to silence the Church.
Influenced and funded by foreign leftist groups, government is attempting to redefine marriage to include same-sex and transgender unions in the “Single Marriage Statute.” FPI is closely monitoring this legislative process including the thousands of submissions made.
The Dept of Justice is currently re-evaluating the laws on prostitution. There is intense pressure on South Africa to decriminalize the sex industry – from global sexual rights radicals – despite the SA Law Commission’s 9-year investigation strongly recommending against it.
FPI is fighting anti-family groups with multi-million-dollar budgets. That’s why we need your prayers and financial support. We cannot do what we do without your valued partnership.
Please make a tax-deductible donation to FPI today and help us fight for your values where it matters most. FPI’s ‘Special Consultative Status’ at the United Nations means we can participate in UN resolutions that effect faith, family and religious freedoms in SA. A lack of funding means a lack of effectiveness – something we cannot afford at this critical time.
We are also monitoring the debates on vaccine mandates. Every citizen must have the right to bodily integrity and the freedom to choose. We will oppose state enforced mandates.
May God bless, protect and prosper you and your precious family as you give to His work.
