Chinese Communist Party (CCP) accounts of the origins and outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic has come under intense scrutiny. Several nations are now investigating whether the virus originated in a Wuhan laboratory in China. Multiple investigative sources agree the Chinese dictatorship launched an extensive cover-up of data and information about Covid19 immediately following the outbreak.

The Washington Post reported as early as January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Institute of Virology Lab in Wuhan. It also flagged risky research on coronavirus from bats. Many scientists believe the virus escaped from the Wuhan lab as early as November 2019 and spread through that region. These critical facts – if not hidden from the world – would have significantly mitigated this disaster.

Information emanating from independent sources in China now indicate the CCP grossly under-reported Covid19 infections and death rates. The Chinese Communist Party is engaged in a massive misinformation campaign to falsely position itself as a global leader in the fight against infectious diseases.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) appears to be complicit in the early cover-up of the outbreak. Reports indicate the WHO repeated CCP propaganda without verifying the facts. The Communist regime’s initial cover-up of human-to-human COVID19 infections – supported by the WHO – helped intensify the spread of the deadly coronavirus to 180 countries across the world.

Incredibly, Taiwan warned the WHO about human-to-human infections as early as Dec 2019. The global health body ignored them and instead chose to parrot CCP propaganda. The WHO also rejects Taiwan membership (on instructions from the CCP) in support of the Chinese dictatorship’s political agenda.

White House trade advisor, Peter Navarro revealed, “The CCP hoarded Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and is currently profiteering from the sale of substandard masks, gloves etc to countries decimated by the virus. The CCP reportedly donated PPE’s to Italy with much fanfare for PR purposes. It later emerged the same PPE’s were originally donated to China from Italy. 

The Chinese Communist Party’s quest for global dominance is no secret. China has massive business interest in countries across the world. CCP investment in Australia, Italy, Germany and several African countries have guaranteed these nations economic reliance on the communist state. The supply chains of numerous global companies like Apple, Microsoft, Google and Nike are embedded in China.

The CCP’s oppression of its own citizens are well documented. Multiple reports suggests it does not tolerate religious freedoms or any form of dissent. It systematically assaults and imprisons Pastors and destroys Churches. An estimated three million Chinese citizens are confined in concentration camps. Protests are brutally put down and citizens jailed for criticising the regime.

South Africa, a democracy that claims to esteem human rights and freedoms inexplicably maintains close political and economic ties with China. In fact, ANC officials often sing the praises of the Chinese dictatorship despite consistent reports of appalling human rights abuses in China.

Incidents of xenophobia and racism against Africans emerged in China.

An investigative current affairs channel explores China’s growing political and economic presence in SA in a program entitled, “The Dark Side of China’s Deep Ties with South Africa.” 

The CCP also uses its political and economic clout to enforce its agenda worldwide. Governments with close ties to China typically discourage negative views on the communist regime. Global bodies like the UN and its subsidiary, the WHO often parrot CCP propaganda despite its appalling human rights record. Influential media outlets across the world are also on the CCP payroll.

CNN (no surprise) was recently caught out blatantly promoting CCP propaganda.

Prominent newspapers in major nations carry paid for by China inserts that openly promote CCP propaganda to increase its influence in western nations.

Despite the growing outcry against the CCP’s mishandling of the coronavirus outbreak, including its direct complicity in the death and destruction that ravaged the entire world, I cannot find reports in South Africa (government or media) that objectively debate China’s role in this catastrophic global pandemic.

The CCP has set itself on a collision cause with the US, Europe and other major nations. Japan is paying companies to exit China. Once this pandemic has subsided, the CCP must account for its crimes against humanity. God has heard the cries of His people in China. Judgement awaits.
