Oleg loves FEBA Moldova’s children’s program. “He looks forward to every new video,” says his mother. “And he’s constantly talking about the latest Bible story he heard.” Another young viewer, Varya, watches every video and then writes to share with the team what she has learned and what surprised her, and to ask questions about the Bible.

Oleg and Varya are two of the many children who are learning about Christ and the Bible through FEBA’s vibrant youth ministry in a country where domestic abuse and child neglect are rampant. A 12-year-old boy, Roman, recently told the team, “The first time I heard that someone loves me was in your program. I hope what you are saying is true, and that God truly cares.”

FEBA Moldova’s youth ministry creates content both for children and young adults. The children’s programs teach young viewers about Jesus through Bible stories and Christian songs. The music has proven so popular that several children’s summer camps, including secular ones, started playing it to their campers this past summer. One counsellor shared, “The kids love the songs. They already know most of them by heart. And we love playing them!”

Programs for young adults include a Bible program, which has quickly gained a large audience, and a new program that shows how Christians live their daily lives. During the filming of the second episode, the host’s testimony inspired two teenagers to put their faith in Christ. FEBA Moldova holds weekly meetings for its teenage viewers, most of whom are not Christian, where they can share their burdens and learn about the gospel.

“I started praying again because of your program,” a viewer, Magda, wrote recently. “I’ve begun to realise that Christianity is about more than just following rules. It’s about having a relationship with Jesus. Now I’m going to a Bible study, and I’m able to help other girls like me understand what it means to have a relationship with Jesus.”
