Reports from Family Policy Institute’s (FPI) allies at the “UN Family Rights Caucus” indicate UN agencies like UNESCO, UNFPA, UNESCO and the World Health Organization (WHO) are moving aggressively to control the education and health policies of sovereign nations like South Africa.

In September 2022, the United Nations (UN) hosted the “Transforming Education Summit” in New York, seeking to establish a “transformative” global education agenda and framework for every UN member state. The established agenda would remove decision-making from local and national (government) levels to a globalized, “progressive universalism in education.”

“Proposing a reinvention of the purpose of education, the United Nations “Transforming Education Summit” aims to establish curriculum guidelines with a primary focus on culturally engineering social justice, climate activism, and sexual ideology through “social and emotional learning,” beginning with the most malleable population—children.”

“In the UN’s “learning to live together,” agenda – education becomes a means of instilling an ethical pluralism and subjectivism devoid of diversity of thought or personal convictions. This is achieved through equity, inclusion, and non-discrimination education as well as “gender transformative curricula that include ‘Comprehensive Sexuality Education’ and helps to address gender-based prejudice, norms or stereotypes” (code for sexual rights indoctrination).

Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) describes the institutional and social formation of “cognitive, emotional, physical, and social aspects of sexuality” beginning from early child development through adulthood. CSE curricula introduces homosexuality, transgenderism, masturbation, sexual experimentation, and fluid gender identity from ages 0-4 years.

The UN vision for global education (control) also intends “combating the harmful cultural norms taught by parents” (Biblical values) by teaching “ anti-bias education” at pre-primary level.

The bad news for South Africa is the ANC regime has relinquished the formulation of education policy to UNESCO and other radicals. UN agencies already direct abortion, LGBTQ inclusive, sexual orientation and gender identity policies in South Africa’s public education system.

In addition, the World Health Organization (WHO) is moving aggressively to advance its vision to control the global health policies of UN member-states through its new Global Pandemic Treaty.”

The draft, “Global Pandemic Treaty” includes proposals to concentrate new powers in the Director of the World Health Organization (an ANC ally) including the authority to declare a global pandemic emergency that would trigger new binding obligations under the treaty.

On top of these new powers, it calls on governments to “tackle false, misleading, misinformation or disinformation” and promote “confidence and uptake of vaccines.”

This means governments must censor and silence anyone with opposing views to the WHO.

The broad scope of the draft treaty could bring all national health policy and more under the purview of pandemic preparedness, including abortion policy. It calls on governments to address not just pandemic-related policies but all the “social, environmental and economic determinants of health”, including issues like “economic growth, the environment, employment, trade, transport, gender equality, education, social assistance, housing, food insecurity, nutrition and culture, and especially for persons in vulnerable situations.”

Alarmingly, the ”Global Pandemic Treaty” grants the WHO control of a wide range of social- policies in sovereign nations like South Africa – under the guise of national pandemic planning.

The ANC regime has abandoned any pretence of governance to focus its efforts on looting the national treasury for the enrichment of its incompetent and corrupt cadres. As a result, it has relinquished national social policies like education and health to faceless UN bureaucrats.

Significantly, however, UN agencies and the liberal nations that support its globalist agenda, are in direct conflict with established UN resolutions endorsed by the majority of member-states.

Article 26.2 of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, “Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality…” This provision was later echoed in Declaration on the Rights of the Child, along with elaboration on how best to implement it: “The child, for the full and harmonious development of his personality, needs love and understanding. He shall, wherever possible, grow up in the care and under the responsibility of his parents…” The Preamble had already stated that “mankind owes to the child the best it has to give.”

Article 26 further states that while “Everyone has the right to education,” and “Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages” (Section 1), yet “Parents have a prior right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children”

Article 26 is based upon the principle that while the state should guarantee universal access to education, the primary responsibility for that education and the right to determine it rests with parents. This principle corresponds with Article 16 of the UDHR which states that ‘the family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State’, and Article 12 which guarantees that ‘No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home… Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.’

Every parent, grandparent, religious and civil-society leader who uphold the sanctity of life, the primacy of the natural family and the freedom and right to determine national social policy as citizens (as enshrined in the SA constitution) must oppose the dangerous UN globalist agenda.
