This past October in Ethiopia, the heavens opened – spiritually and literally! Despite unexpected rainstorms (October is supposed to be the dry season in Ethiopia), every meeting took place as planned. The Gospel was preached, come rain or shine, bringing thousands to Jesus. Evangelist Daniel Kolenda preached in all four cities, supported by CfaN Bootcamp graduates in each location. And the result was a heavenly outpouring of salvation, healing and deliverance in abundance!

This man, injured in a motorbike accident, was healed of neck pain that had plagued him for seven years.
City-wide revival
Hawassa | 3-6 October
In Hawassa, where Daniel preached the first two nights, the campaign started relatively small. But word quickly spread about the wonders God was doing. On the second night, the crowd had doubled. By the final meeting, over 120 000 people gathered. That final night felt less like an ending and more like the beginning of city-wide revival. As Evangelist Gary Smith took the stage, even the streets were flooded with people. Cars could barely make their way down the road through the throngs of worshippers. During the invitation to receive Christ, hands rose like a field of wheat ready for harvest.
A young boy who had been unable to smell for five years suddenly regained his sense of smell.
Hearing restored!
In Hosanna, for some reason, testimonies had been slow throughout the week, but a breakthrough was near. As the Spirit moved, Daniel noticed an older woman in the crowd pressing her hands to her ears, praying earnestly. The Holy Spirit stirred him, and he pointed to her, commanding her ears to open in Jesus’ Name. Instantly, she began waving her arms – something miraculous was unfolding.
She pushed through the crowd towards the front. Taking her hand, Daniel led her onto the platform and asked what happened. This woman lived on the outskirts of Hosanna and had travelled into town just for the campaign. Deaf in both ears for seven years, she said the moment he pointed at her, her ears popped open – she could hear! She danced and jumped across the platform, overcome with unrestrained joy.
Then, like a dam breaking, miracles erupted across the field. People fell to the ground in worship as a holy awe swept over us, gripping every heart.
Breakthrough!
Dilla | 3-6 October
For the first two nights in Dilla, Evangelist Randy Roberts faced the challenge of torrential rain that turned the campaign field into a muddy quagmire. Attendance was thin. But on Saturday, praying fervently, we saw a breakthrough! The clouds parted like a curtain over the town, and despite the mud, people came hungry and expectant. The crowd was ten times larger than the previous night, and the atmosphere was electric. Daniel preached the Gospel with all his heart and thousands made the decision to follow Christ. On the final night, the team arrived to find the field packed to capacity – even the stands and hills on the outskirts were full!
Ephraem, who had suffered from pain and limited movement in his left arm for three years, was healed. He dropped to the ground and did push-ups on stage, grinning the whole time.
Delube, who had leg pain from a motorcycle accident four years ago, was also healed – squatting without pain.
Bereket, born deaf in her left ear, stood on stage in tears as she heard out of that ear for the first time.
Every knee bowed!
Sodo | 10-13 October
The first night in Sodo, Daniel witnessed something he had never experienced before. As he preached, he spoke about the promise in Philippians 2:10 – that at the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Then, something remarkable happened. Without any prompting, the crowd began to kneel in the dirt, lifting their hands and spontaneously calling on the Name of Jesus. He knelt with them, waiting for the moment to pass so he could continue, but they had no intention of stopping. Their cries to the Lord grew even more fervent, many of them weeping, pouring out their hearts in raw, genuine surrender. Finally, with all of us still on our knees before the King of kings, Daniel led a prayer of salvation.
A soldier named Ephrium had been shot in the foot and endured constant pain, especially in cold weather. But after prayer, the pain vanished. To the crowd’s amazement, he sprinted across the stage, joyfully testing his restored foot.
