Undoubtedly, aQuellé’s most significant contributions to communities are the Minister’s Conference held every two years and the biannual KwaSizabantu Youth Conference. The recent 102nd youth conference took place at the mission station, attracting over 8,000 young people who registered to attend and listen to the Gospel. The youth conference also led to the establishment of the CYPSA (Concerned Young People of South Africa) restoration program, which has helped more than 20,000 young people with addiction and other challenges over the years.
aQuellé means spring water, and by reaching out to communities in need, it connects spiritually to the living water simile found in the Bible. The work that the aQuellé teams are doing in the community is yet another explicit confirmation of the refreshing power of God’s presence in their work. The spring water was discovered and bottled on the premises of the KwaSizabantu Mission Station. The business entity that emerged from this discovery enables the Mission to undertake uplifting work in the community.
