The US Congress Bill, “The US-South Africa Bilateral Relations Review Act of 2025”, passed the Foreign Affairs Committee and moves on to Congress for progress. The Bill seeks to identify SA government officials and ANC leaders eligible for sanctions.
The Bill holds ANC officials accountable for links with totalitarian regimes like China, Russia and Iran including ties with terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. The Bill also targets SA government officials with sanctions for corruption and the misuse of state funds.
President Cyril Ramaphosa said the growing tensions between the US and SA will be resolved through diplomacy. However, Mcebisi Jonas, Ramaphosa’s special envoy was rejected by the Trump admin which means SA has no diplomatic channels open to the US.
It appears the ANC led South African government will be compelled to change its policies – not for the sake of its suffering citizens – but as a result of growing external pressure.

I am monitoring the progress of the gender-neutral single “Marriage Bill” that seeks to redefine the God-given institution of man, woman marriage in law. The ANC drafted Bill equates man, woman marriage with same-sex and transgender unions in every respect.
FPI is working closely with its local and international pro-family allies to defeat this socially destructive Bill. The “Marriage Bill” strips men and women of the unique identity of marriage and abolishes the terms “husband and wife” – simply to appease LGBTQ radicals.
I need your prayers and financial partnership to remain on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and freedom. A lack of adequate funding means FPI loses its ability to remain in the fight for Biblical values in SA. The battle is heating up – we dare not lose momentum.
We are also working with our allies to defeat the ANC/SWEAT agenda to legalise the entire sex-industry in South Africa. The SA Law Reform Commission (SALRC) warned legalised prostitution is the worst possible policy for vulnerable women and children in South Africa.
SWEAT lodged a High Court application to repeal the laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sexual services in SA – effectively legalising prostitution. We must stop them from expanding the sex-industry and sexually exploiting the poor and the vulnerable.

We continue our vital work to expose the harmful sexual indoctrination embedded in “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” (CSE) in public schools. It is abortion and LGBTQ propaganda under the guise of sexuality education. We must end this harmful policy.
The US recent withdrawal from UNESCO significantly undermines the UN agency agenda to impose its abortion and LGBTQ indoctrination tool (CSE) in the schooling systems of UN member-states. It also means UNESCO loses the largest chunk of its global funding.
I am working with the “African Christian Professionals Forum” (ACPF) to develop and promote pro-family policy alternatives for African governments. The ACPF works closely with its pro-family allies in the US and Europe to advance Biblical values in public policy.
