FRC’s “Washington Watch” reports, “the United Nations (UN) General Assembly passed a non-binding declaration that purported to “strengthen” collaboration and coordination between nations in order to “better prevent, prepare for and respond to pandemics.” But experts say that buried in the declaration are references that have nothing to do with preventing pandemics, including language to expand abortion, gender ideology, and speech censorship.”

The UN reportedly chose not to call a member-state vote on the proposed global “Pandemic Treaty.”  “People are under the impression that it passed. That usually means that there was a roll call vote of the General Assembly, but there was no consensus on this.” As reported by The Defender, a “silence procedure” was used so that no country could be seen as actually objecting to the text, “meaning that States not responding [would] be deemed supporters of the text.”

Family Policy Institute (FPI) and its international pro-family allies at the “UN Family Rights Caucus” are monitoring the WHO “Pandemic Treaty” at the UN to defeat this agenda. FPI is also closely monitoring the legislative process of the gender-neutral single “Marriage Bill”  that will soon be published by Parliament’s ‘Home Affairs Portfolio Committee’ for public comment.

FPI is currently developing an online facility to assist and guide citizens to easily make submissions on the single “Marriage Bill.” The site retains the records of all submissions and may be used as compelling evidence should the Bill be challenged in the Constitutional Court.

Critically, however, FPI’s funding has not kept pace with its growing workload. We are lagging dangerously behind budget with just ten weeks left this year to complete our vital work to defend the natural family and advance Biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society.

Will you please, therefore, prayerfully consider a generous once-off tax-deductible donation to FPI to help us finish 2023 strong – for faith, family and religious freedoms in SA.  You can EFT your contribution directly into FPI’s banking account.  Tax-certificates are available on request.

FPI is fighting on multiple fronts to defend and promote Biblical values in South Africa. We face formidable challenges from the global sexual rights movement and its proxies in South Africa.

The World Health Organization (WHO) supported by its partner agencies like UNESCO, UNFPA and UNICEF are aggressively pushing a “global governance through health care” agenda – to legally mandate abortion-on-demand, LGBTQ indoctrination, compulsory “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” and enforced radical gender ideology in and out of the schooling system.

Family Policy Institute

The ANC regime slavishly implements foreign devised sexual rights policies in SA as directed by UN agencies. The redefinition of man, woman marriage and gender-neutral marriage laws in SA are the results of UN agency pressure – not the will of the majority of South African citizens.

FPI is monitoring the dangerous “BELA Bill” that seeks to override parental authority in education. Coupled with the aggressive push to legally mandate CSE and radical gender ideology in education, the BELA Bill is the most totalitarian assault on free-choice in education.

Please help keep FPI on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and freedom by making a generous once-off tax-deductible donation today. Your prayers and financial partnership is critical for our mutual success. We cannot do what we do without your valued and vital support.

“Hate Crime” laws present the most severe threat to religious free speech since the advent of democracy. It threatens to silence the Biblical beliefs and convictions of Christian citizens.

The ANC regime promised to enact the “Sexual Offences Amendment Bill” in 2024. FPI is working with its international allies to stop the full decriminalisation of the entire sex-industry in South Africa. This policy will be devastating to vulnerable women and children and greater society.

Please make a decision today to partner with the vital work of FPI in South Africa. Your donation of whatever amount helps us fight for your values where it matters most. Please donate today.
