A record 18,95 million people used the YouVersion Bible app on Easter Sunday 2025, marking a 12% increase from the previous year.
Bobby Gruenewald, YouVersion CEO, says this momentum reflects a global spiritual awakening, with growing openness to Scripture and the Church. “We are humbled to be part of something God is clearly doing,” he said.
Bible sales mirror this trend: US sales rose 22% last year, and UK sales have nearly doubled in five years.
A Barna survey reports that 66% of US adults now say they’ve made a personal commitment to Jesus. Gruenewald adds: “The Bible app is an essential tool for this generation.”
