Internationally acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Amanda Cook was scheduled to visit South Africa in September 2025 for her much-anticipated Worship Works Wonders Tour. With dates planned in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban, the tour promised to be a powerful time of worship and encounter for believers across the country.

Amanda Cook, known for her heartfelt songs such as You Make Me Brave and Pieces, has ministered to millions around the world. Her ministry carries a deep prophetic edge, leading people into stillness, wonder, and intimacy with the Lord. South African audiences had been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to worship with her live for the very first time on local soil.

Sadly, it has now been confirmed that the South African leg of the tour will not go ahead as planned. Nicole Naudé, organiser of the South African tour, explained:

“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to postpone the events. We are currently working with Amanda and the venues to confirm new dates, which we will share with you as soon as they are finalised.”

For those who have already purchased tickets, please take note:

  • Your tickets remain 100% valid – no action is required.
  • New tickets will be re-issued for the rescheduled dates once they are confirmed.
  • The new dates are expected to take place in the first half of 2026.

Nicole added:
“Thank you for your excitement and support for Worship Works Wonders with Amanda Cook. It means so much to us that you planned to join this special time of worship and encounter with God’s presence. We deeply value your patience and understanding. Our prayer is that these events will be a life-changing time together, and we trust that God has a plan with this postponement.”

While the postponement is disappointing, anticipation for Amanda’s ministry in South Africa continues to grow. Organisers remain confident that when the new dates are announced, the gatherings will be worth the wait and will mark a significant moment for the Church in our nation.
