Do You Remember is a heartfelt romantic drama woven together by love, faith, family, redemption, and the extraordinary power of music. Slated for release in November 2026, the film follows two gifted artists whose shared passion for music becomes the foundation of something far greater. With dreams of traveling the world and performing together, their future appears filled with possibility – until a tragic accident abruptly changes the course of their lives. Faced with broken dreams and fractured stories, they discover that the music that first brought them together may also hold the power to lead them toward healing, hope, and redemption. The film comes from Fountain Bridge Productions, a faith-based, family-first film and music production company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, led by executive directors and husband-and-wife team Gary and Diane Beard.

Written by emerging Baton Rouge screenwriter Nicholas Beard, who also served as co-director on the film, Do You Remember brings an emotionally rich story to the screen, capturing the intimate details, relationships, and defining moments that shape its characters.
The film is directed by acclaimed South African filmmaker Regardt van den Bergh, whose body of work includes Faith Like Potatoes, Hansie and The Making of a Man.

Nathan Beard, Nicholas’s brother and fellow member of the creative Beard family, also serves as co-director. Music lies at the very heart of the story. The film’s original music was written and composed by Jason Beard, a multi-instrumentalist and recording artist whose own journey includes a year spent living in South Africa, where he formed a meaningful connection with local communities while volunteering in initiatives supporting vulnerable people.
That personal connection also shaped the film’s original music, from the recently released title track, “Do You Remember,” to “Lonely Road,” a modern-country release rooted in the same themes of love, memory and sacrifice that run through the film. Bringing the characters to life is a compelling cast led by Michael Fjordbak as Thomas and Connor Ann Waterman as Laura, alongside Zane Haney as David and Orlando Eric Street as Frank.
A story about dreams interrupted, hearts tested and lives forever connected through music, Do You Remember asks a powerful question:When everything you planned for suddenly changes, can love – and the music you once shared – help you find your way back?
DO YOU REMEMBER Coming to theaters on 27 November 2026 in South Africa
