Dr. Robert Munien is the founder of Grace Outreach International and Global Kingdom Community (GKC), both based in Durban, South Africa. Dr. Munien is a great resource to leaders and churches both locally and globally who look to him for coaching, advice, oversight and counsel. The Kingdom of God is an oft-debated subject today, in the church as well as in the world, but the discussion has tended to produce more confusion than clarity. What is the nature of the Kingdom and the manner of its arrival? Is it a natural kingdom to be realized by human effort alone? Or is it a spiritual Kingdom that is established by God’s power and authority alone? About the Song:
Many prophesies have gone out throughout the years saying Grace Outreach International will be the birthing place of new sounds and songs and with the release of this book, Dr Munien felt a song needs to be written to accompany the “new sound”. A video clip of Dr Munien teaching was shown to Julanie J and within seconds, she heard a phrase in her head and Kingdom was born. Only afterwards did she hear that the book is all about His kingdom here and now.
“Something he said, just triggered me and I heard in my head…”Your Kingdom is here with us, it’s within us”….and a song was born in that moment. To me it was a God moment as I sat down and 10 minutes later, the complete song was written & composed”, Julanie J says.
Julanie J then worked with the team of Grace Outreach International to produce and perform this first song to be released from their platform. Julanie J also had the privilege to perform this song live with the Grace Outreach band at the launch of Dr Munien’s book in Durban.
