Where do my loved ones go when they die?
At a time when Sara, a Buddhist who sells iced tea for a living in Southern Thailand, was mourning the loss of several family members, this question haunted her. She did not know where in the spirit world they were, and her religion offered no satisfactory answers.
Heartbroken, Sara prayed for certainty – and even though she did not pray to Him, the Lord still answered. He led her to find a radio station in her city that plays FEBA’s programs every day. For the first time, Sara heard the Good News of salvation and eternal life in her own dialect. She contacted FEBA, enrolled in the Bible Correspondence Course, and finally gave her heart to Christ.
Now, Sara plays FEBA’s programs at her iced tea stall and encourages customers to listen closely if they want to know what happens after death! FEBA regularly sends her free booklets that offer a biblical perspective on many life topics, which she then shares with her customers. One customer has already come to Christ this year!
Approximately 73% of people in Southern Thailand are Buddhist and more than 25% are Muslim, particularly in the provinces that share a border with Malaysia. Christians comprise less than 0.5% of the population there. FEBA’s programs offer people a completely new perspective on life and death, and its Bible Correspondence Course has guided thousands of students of all ages and walks of life – even prison – through God’s Word.
