Fresh reports today that Justin Bieber has gotten engaged to American model Hailey Baldwin.
TMZ first reported the news that Justin popped the big question while the couple was in the Bahamas.
Bieber announced their engagement on his Instagram Monday afternoon and said it was all in God’s perfect timing.
“I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make,” he wrote. “Gods timing really is literally perfect, we got engaged on the seventh day of the seventh month, the number seven is the number of spiritual perfection, it’s true GOOGLE IT!”
Bieber ended the post by quoting Proverbs 18:22.
“‘He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains FAVOR from the Lord! This is the year of favor!!!!” he said.
Bieber’s dad Jeremy took to Instagram to post his congratulations to Justin, saying, “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”
Bieber’s mom Pattie Mallette simply posted a celebration of “Love Love Love Love Love Love Love.”

So who is Hailey Baldwin? She’s a bit of a star in the modeling world, and she’s been a TV host for music awards shows and the TBS program “Drop the Mic.”
Hailey was raised as an evangelical Christian, and her father Stephen Baldwin is an actor who is very outspoken about his born-again faith.
She’s not ashamed of her faith either. In a 2016 interview in Teen Vogue, Hailey said, “I was raised in church. I was brought up in that life, and I think that it’s very important for everybody to be in touch with their spirituality and to have a relationship with God.”
“I think that God kind of put me in the place in my life to not be quiet about it, not be quiet about him, but to reach people and to inspire people,” she said.
Along those lines, here’s an inspiring retweet she posted of an awesome video of medical staff praying in a hospital a week ago.
“I don’t look at it as a religion,” Hailey also told the magazine. “I look at it as your own personal relationship with God because, what I believe, it doesn’t say in the Bible that it’s a set religion and a set standard of rules. It’s your own personal relationship with God between you and him, and the Bible is a tool for you to be able to live that out day by day. Church is a tool for you to fellowship with other people that believe in what you believe in.”
Meanwhile, her social media posts indicate Hailey’s had a good relationship with her father Stephen through the years. She posted sweet pictures of them together recently on his birthday, and here’s a flashback photo of a much younger Hailey with her dad, posted by the 21-year-old on Father’s Day.
Meanwhile, Justin appears to be as intent as ever about following his deepening faith in Christ. His main Instagram photo shows him and his mentor, Pastor Judah Smith.
And his Instagram bio currently includes just one thing – a link to a powerful Hillsong worship song called “I Surrender.” Here’s that video:
