On Tuesday 18 February, 2020 at around 10am I received a call requesting me to fly to Durban and meet with King Zwelithini to share with him the damaging effects of CSE (Comprehensive Sex Education) and our new programme, FSE (Family Sex education), that God had instructed us to establish and roll out with Christian educators throughout the nation.

A promising partnership
That evening, along with Michael and Carol Cassidy, Robin and Jacqui Stephenson, and Theuns Pauw, we met with King Zwelithini and Queen Nompumemlo. It was very encouraging to witness King Zwelithini take a firm stand against CSE and embrace FSE as the preferred alternative. He was uncompromising in his stance in his speech to the KZN legislature on Tuesday March 3rd, where he outlined the dangers of CSE, and referred to FSE as the programme that he was backing and endorsing. King Zwelithini not only gave his unwavering support, but committed assistance to support the roll out of the FSE programme. We look forward to working with him to ensure this roll out in KZN and other provinces.

Join us in praying for righteous, bold, and uncompromising leaders who will take a stand for righteousness!

Changes in Parliament
Shortly after our meeting, another call came from Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi’s office requesting that a presentation be made to Members of Parliament and members of the IFP regarding the harmful and damaging effects of CSE, and talking about the FSE alternative that we were proposing. That presentation was made on March 5th in Parliament in Cape Town to selected members of Parliament who committed to tabling an urgent motion to discuss the CSE matter, and to support the alternative FSE programme that we were driving.

Join us in prayer
We pray that many leaders will be as bold and uncompromising as King Zwelithini and Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. President Paul Kagame, in his recent interview in the New Africa magazine, stated that there must be no compromise on African values. We agree categorically. This is a thought that has been echoed by our own President Cyril Ramaphosa. There can be no compromise of any African values that are aligned with the values of the Kingdom of God and are morally and ethically upright. Join us in praying for righteous, bold, and uncompromising leaders who will take a stand for righteousness!
