The KwaSizabantu Mission will hold a ministers’ conference at the mission in Kranskop, KwaZulu-Natal and anyone involved in Christian ministry is welcome to attend. The conference is planned for 6 – 8 March 2023. Attendance is free, including accommodation and meals. The theme for this coming conference is: As the Father has sent me, so send I you. (John 20:21)
Since the inception of the KwaSizabantu Ministers’ Conferences in 1988, they have continued to date under the leadership of the founder of KwaSizabantu, Rev Erlo Stegen. Isaiah 62:6 has formed the foundation – “I have posted watchmen on your walls … they will never be silent day or night.”
The conferences have been a source of many blessings and encouragement to pastors and Christian leaders through the years. The conference is usually attended by over a thousand preachers and other Christian leaders from all over the world and from a great variety of church backgrounds. The mission has had up to 29 different countries represented at a conference.
This 2023 conference is the 40th KwaSizabantu Ministers’ Conference hosted by the Mission. Most of them were held on the Mission in KwaZulu-Natal, but some were also in Europe, Mozambique, and other provinces of South Africa.
Over the years the Mission has had speakers from different countries in Europe, the UK, America, Australia, South Korea and different African countries. Dr Rev Ian Paisley from Northern Ireland, Rev Bill Bathman (Director of In Touch Mission International, USA) and Dr Rev Ernest Mcambi (founder and former Director of Trans World Radio Zulu Ministry) are some of the invited speakers who previously preached from the KwaSizabantu pulpit.
Different themes have been explored over the years, such as: Choose ye this day; Redeem the time for the days are evil; Pressing toward the goal; More than conquerors and Revival – God at work.
The importance of a conference such as the one above is to remind us of our duty as members of the Church. But it also provides opportunities for networking and supporting those whom God has called to preside in His earthly kingdom. In the past, these gatherings brought courage, connection, clarity and encouragement to Christian leaders. KwaSizabantu builds on the solid foundation laid by its founder.
