In April this year the state of Israel celebrated being 73 years old, but it recently reached another historic milestone. It formed a new governing coalition that includes, for the first time ever, Muslims and the United Arab Union.

First coalition agreement ever by an Arab party
After Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a coalition government within the allotted 28 days, President Rivlin handed over the mandate to Netanyahu’s primary opponent, Yair Lapid. Netanyahu was then replaced following the announcement of the new coalition government. The primary coalition consists of Naftali Bennett of Yamina (right-wing party), Yair Lapid of Yesh Atid (moderate party), and Mansour Abbas of Ra’am (Islamist party). This is the first coalition agreement ever signed by an Arab party. Benjamin Netanyahu was known for his conservative, nationalist views.

The beginning of the end
The unifying factor that all the parties had in common was to remove Netanyahu. While one side of the spectrum may be celebrating the victory, there are undoubtedly people who are concerned about the country’s security with Netanyahu no longer at the helm – especially in the light of Iran’s growing aggression towards Israel. This government is disgraceful to patriots and conservatives in Israel. The countdown to the end of Israel as a sovereign democratic state officially began on June 2, 2021. As reported by the media, Lapid declared to the president: “I commit to you, Mr. President, that this government will work to serve all the citizens of Israel, including those who are not members of it, and will respect those who oppose Israel. We will do everything in our power to unite all parts of Israeli society.”

What the new government will look like
Nothing makes sense. The left never wanted to co-operate with the right before; the Arabs never wanted to co-operate with the left or right, and to make a man who won only seven seats out of the 120 the prime minister, is a joke. The only factor that unites them is that they do not like Netanyahu. The hatred for him is greater than their love for their country. Each of these parties are betraying their own ideology by co-operating with the others. It reminds me of what happened not too long ago in America – when the hatred for a sitting president was far greater than the love for the country.

The fortress has been breached
I believe that we are at the beginning of the darkest chapter of the State of Israel’s existence. Israel may now be strong, secure, and prosperous – but politically the country is very vulnerable and morally in a sharp decline. The change they long for is not the change that will make Israel better or bring it closer to God. I cannot believe that an Orthodox Jew will head up such a coalition. Apart from the left, right, and so-called moderates (globalists and progressives), there is also Ra’am. This party is in fact the Israeli branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. This is the party of the Islamist movement in Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood has been banned by most Arab countries as an extremist group since its founding in 1928. These include: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Oman. The Muslim Brotherhood may not operate in those countries, but in Israel the arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, Ra’am, is given free reign. The fortress has been breached, the Muslim Brotherhood now has a foothold in the Israeli government.

Israel is in a vulnerable situation
This is incomprehensible and stupid because with this Israel announces that it is weak. The enemies (Russia, Iran [Persia] and Turkey) know that their time to make a move is just around the corner. The first Gog and Magog war – described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 – is becoming a growing possibility. Israel is in a very vulnerable situation. I believe we are entering the last phase of the existence of Israel as a sovereign democracy. When an Orthodox Jew betrays his own people and allows the Islamic Muslim Brotherhood into his own government, the writing is on the wall.

Watch and be sober
However, I know that my Saviour lives. Everything is being fulfilled and we must hold on to what is still unseen. We hold on to the feast of the Lamb, to the judgement day, and to the day of Jesus’ return. We need to set our minds on the things that are above and not the things of the world (Col 3:2). I do not think things are going to improve. Not in America either. Do not be discouraged, do not stop doing good. When He returns, He wants to find us busy about the things of our Father. We must be vigilant and sober! We must look forward to His return and expect it. Pray about it and talk about it. The day is at hand! Even though it’s night, let us behave like children of the light. Everything we see happening has been prophesied and we know Who the victor is!
