President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recent firing of Andrew Whitfield, the DA Deputy Trade and Industry Minister, again proves he governs in the interest of the ANC and not the people of South Africa. Ramaphosa claimed he fired Whitfield for violating ministerial travel rules.

Significantly, however, several independent reports reveal Whitfield was axed because he exposed irregularities in the “Transformation Fund” and questioned the Lottery Tender process that implicates the ANC Minister of Trade and Industry, Parks Tau in corruption.

Parks Tau awarded the multi-billion-rand lottery license tender to a company linked to Deputy President, Paul Mashatile – who is implicated in massive corruption. Mashatile’s exorbitant  R7,3m travel bill  and  shady travel companions are also under scrutiny.

If Ramaphosa strictly applied the rules to his cabinet ministers, he must explain why Thembi Simelane, the former ANC Minister of Justice, was reassigned as Minister of Human Settlements after investigations linked her to the VBS Bank, and other scandals.

Ramaphosa must explain why Higher Education & Training Minister, Nobuhle Nkabane was not fired for appointing ANC cadres as chairpersons of the SETA boards and misleading Parliament about her corrupt appointments. She is accused of nepotism.

The president must also explain why Minister in the Presidency and close Ramaphosa confidant, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni – under investigation for fraud and corruption – is not suspended or fired along with several other officials implicated in State Capture corruption.

The DA announced it will not participate in Ramaphosa’s pointless R700 million talk shop that aims to give the impression the ANC cares about what the public says. It does not. Rampant, relentless corruption and the collapse of critical state resources prove that.

It is clear Ramaphosa toes the ANC line to protect his job and further his business interest. On his watch, fraud, corruption and the gross mismanagement of state resources has exceeded the atrocities of the Zuma years. Ramaphosa presides over SA’s decline.

The “Centre for Development and Enterprise” called for an urgent judge-led inquiry into the NPA’s prosecution failures. NPA head, Shamila Batohi reportedly said, “the NPA was infiltrated, which was giving her sleepless nights and preventing her from doing her job.”

It appears, the Ramaphosa appointed Shamila Batohi is slow walking the prosecutions of ANC cadres implicated in massive fraud and corruption. This is a repeat of what transpired under the Zuma “State Capture” years when the NPA was controlled by ANC lackeys.

Ramaphosa’s administration cannot bring crime under control. SA Police Services are riddled with corruption and mismanagement. The Crime Intelligence boss, Major General Dumisani Khumalo and 7 other top cops were arrested recently for fraud and corruption.

This explains why “construction mafia” and “water mafia” proliferate in SA – extorting money from legitimate businesses and holding up major infrastructure projects. ANC governance failures created an environment for organised crime to flourish in South Africa.

For example, a senior ANC cadre currently under investigation for the R2,3 billion Tembisa Hospital fraud scandal was again granted a lucrative tender by the state. Incredibly, three former PRASA executives now control the entities that defrauded the parastatal of millions.

The ANC under Ramaphosa’s failed leadership has run the City of Johannesburg into the ground. SA’s largest metro is broke and crippled by debt. Investigations reveal a horror story of rampant corruption, theft, fraud and nepotism at City Power that boggles the mind.

And while Ramaphosa dithers, mired in corruption, mismanagement and governance failures, his US counterpart, Donald Trump brokered a peace deal between the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda – ending a 30-year war that killed 6 million Africans.

A globalist wannabe, Ramaphosa offered to mediate in the Iran, Israel conflict. Significantly, however, the “great negotiator” failed to negotiate an end to a brutal war in his own backyard. Instead, he got into a public spat with Rwanda president, Paul Kagame.

The delusional Ramaphosa has failed to secure a trade deal with the Trump administration to avoid a looming 30 percent tariff hike. What he won’t admit is that ‘Expropriation Without Compensation,’ BEE policies and “kill the boer” chants are barriers to trade with the US.

Ramaphosa heads an organized crime network masquerading as a government. Its primary objective is the looting of taxpayer money to enrich its corrupt cadres. South Africans from all backgrounds must pray fervently, speak up boldly and act for change now.
