A prayer initiative serving South Africa prepares the nation for the 2024 elections. SA Belongs to Jesus has more than 760 subscribers on a channel on the telegram messaging app, bringing the body of Christ together for corporate prayers over South Africa.
The main goals of the initiative are the following:
- Unity of the Church in SA
- Prayer for a Godly, righteous and Capable Govt
- Prayer for the 2024 Elections
- Prayer for a Move of the Spirit and Revival
- Releasing of the blessing over SA
- We post short prayers 3 times a day
This movement has grown since its inception in November 2023.
God spoke to PS Richard Crompton to host a three-day, 12-hour daily prayer and fasting meetings for our SA…
The first of these meetings took place over three days in January.
The body of Christ gathered in person at Word of Faith Church, Gqeberha and online, as these meetings were streamed live over Facebook and YouTube. It is estimated that a total of more than 5000 people followed these broadcasts daily.
The format of the meetings started with worship, where worship teams, prayer leaders and pastors from the city and nation gathered.
Various Prophets and Worship Leaders released Prophetic words, songs and prayers into the heavens. The tangible presence of God was so evident that, at times, we could hardly stand.
These meetings would set a precedent for leaders and congregants to pray for our May elections, which was the prophetic word over SA—gathering in local communities where congregants can release a scripture, worship, prayers and prophetic actions, opening the heavens over our nation. Pastor Richard and the leadership of SA Belongs to Jesus invite you as a leader to pray for SA, being led by His Spirit as you gather your people under the banner of worship and prayer for your community and for SA.
We had prominent church leaders who led prayer, including prophet Janet Brann-Hollis, Pastor Bert Pretorius of the 3C Church, prophet Stuart Marais, Africa Mhlope and Tony Kim from California, a senior leader under apostle Ché Ahn of Harvest International Ministry
The follow up 3-day event will take place in Gqeberha shortly before the elections (date to be confirmed) We invite you to join us in person or online as we continue to give birth in the Spirit to a REFORMED South Africa.
