The first question the Creator ever asked was “where are you?” (Genesis 3:9). Of course, the Lord Creator knew exactly where Adam was, but He wanted Adam to confess his shame and to admit his sin. This question reverberates through the ages from generation to generation. The world we are living in today is turning its back on the Creator more and more. So the question, “where are you” has become more pertinent.

Yes, the Lord knows exactly where you are, but He wants you to examine your spiritual situation. “Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many go that way, but narrow is the gate that leads to eternal life, and few there are that find it.” So where are you?

The objective of this book is to encourage believers in Messiah to deepen, extend, and further develop their relationship with our Heavenly Father through Messiah. Our relationship as the Bride (in the making) to the Divine Bridegroom is highlighted and emphasised. Like Ester, we need to prepare ourselves thoroughly, by the washing of the Word (Ephesians 5:25-27) before we can go to be with the King. The impact of the fallen world on us as individuals is extensive and needs to be addressed. As James states in his letter (James 4:4) “friendship with the world is enmity towards God”. We all need serious washing. (Repentance – that is, turning back to the Almighty Creator’s Ways and His Word).
