I wish to express my deep gratitude to Family Policy Institute’s (FPI) loyal partners in the critical battle to promote biblical values in South Africa. Your prayers and financial support enables FPI to remain active on the frontlines of the battle for faith, family and religious freedoms in SA. We cannot do what we do without faithful people like you.
30 June marks the end of FPI’s (first) six-month fundraising campaign. Incidentally, it is also my 65th birthday. My wish – as my family and I celebrate this milestone – is that my wife Arlene and I and the the FPI team will be empowered to continue to lead the fight to defend the family and promote biblical values in Parliament, the media and general society.
Sadly, however, we end the first six months of this year with a deficit of approximately R90.000. FPI must launch its (second) six-month funding initiative (July – Dec 2026) to raise the R450.000 we need to fund our vital Bible-based pro-family work in South Africa.
My urgent goal is to ensure we don’t carry the R90.000 deficit into the next six months budget. Will you please, therefore, consider a generous once-off tax-deductible donation to help us reduce our deficit to zero by 30 June and begin the final six months of 2026 in a stronger financial position. FPI’s work is often undermined by a lack of adequate funding.
You save on your taxes by supporting the work of FPI. As a registered Public Benefit Organisation, donations to FPI are tax deductible. Tax-certificates are available on request.
July – Dec 2026 will require FPI’s full attention. In October this year, the W/Cape High Court will hear arguments to strike down the laws that criminalise the sale and purchase of sexual services in SA. This application, brought by the foreign-funded S.W.E.A.T, seeks to legalise the entire sex industry by judicial decree – thereby silencing the voice of citizens.
FPI is gearing up to oppose this case and generate public awareness countrywide about the dangers of legalised prostitution in SA. The SA Law Reform Commission also warned against this policy. However, the success of FPI’s campaign depends on its funding.
The Municipal Elections is scheduled for 4 November 2026. FPI and its allies will launch voter education initiatives to ensure voters are aware of the dangers of supporting political parties involved in rampant corruption, fraud, money laundering and racketeering. We plan to educate voters about how these crimes impact on their well-being, family and future.
FPI’s efforts to defeat the ANC agenda to redefine marriage in the proposed gender-neutral single “Marriage Bill” and our efforts to eradicate “Comprehensive Sexuality Education” in public schools is gaining traction. I serve on the Board of “Rescue SA Civil Rights Alliance.” We lodged our first case against the ANC led government at the North Gauteng High Court on 19 May. This case challenges the constitutionality of race-based laws in SA. If successful, It will fundamentally change the way BBEEE policies are implemented.
I am currently planning the “African Christian Professionals Forum” (ACPF) Pan-African Conference on Family Values in Cape Town 12 – 15 May 2027. This event will draw policy makers, NGO’s, legal experts, Christian leaders and others from across the continent of Africa and the world to find policy solutions for life, family and religious freedoms in Africa.
The ACPF will issue a Statement on Faith, Family and Freedom for governments consideration. It recommends family-centered policy solutions for the challenges we face.
FPI has a busy and critical six months ahead. Our vital work cannot be hindered (or risk suspension) because of a lack of funding. We must urgently reduce our current deficit of R90.000 by 30 June 2026 so that we have a better chance of continuing the vital work we began 19 years ago to defend and protect Faith, Family, Freedom and Justice in SA.
As previously mentioned, I also celebrate my 65th birthday on 30 June 2026. I am grateful to God that I am fit and healthy to continue the critical battle for biblical values in SA.
Please join me in celebrating my 65th birthday by enabling me to continue my vital work in FPI. Please make a generous tax-deductible donation today and help FPI fight for your values where it matters most. FPI’s critical work at the UN, African forums, Parliament, the media and online podcasts serves to amplify the voice of the Christian community in SA.
May God continue to bless, protect & prosper you and your precious family as you pray and partner with Family Policy Institute in the critical task of upholding biblical values in SA.
